We kicked off the ‘sandwich seva’ program, a recurring community giving program to feed the needy with freshly prepared meals. Volunteers gathered together in the morning on Sunday, April 22nd to assemble bags to be distributed to the homeless in LA downtown. Each bag contains 2 sandwiches, a vegetable burger, fruit, and a bottle of water. 50 bags were distributed in total. In keeping with the temple’s mission to do seva in Lord Hanuman’s name, we will be doing sandwich seva on the 3rd Sunday of every month. You support makes it possible to continue our efforts. $3 sponsors one bag, which feeds an individual for a day. Please donate generously.
